Voyager solo build update.

Gap filling and epoxy question.
I'm allmost done stripping my voyager solo and due to some dumb mistakes I made in the strip making process I'll have to do a lot more gap filling than my last canoe. If I'm reading Newfound Woodworks' "stripping notes" correctly, they say to do the sealer coat of epoxy before filling any ...

First attempt
This paddle is made from cedar and ash with walnut handle tips. It's not perfect but if I knew it would turn out this nice I would have used nicer wood instead of scraps from the shop. [IMG:372:496]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v498/tayankey/paddle/P3260089.jpg[/img]

Glen. thanks those pics were very helpful. My solo is called Voyager, from Newfound Woodworks. here's a pic of a finished one. I wish I knew how the builder did those accent strips.
