I am to the point of putting a finish on my RedBird Canoe. I have a frend that has done a lot of body work and will spray the finish on my canoe. I am to the point of mounting my seats on my Redbird. I am looking for anyone who can tell me what there experience has been on the position of the seats in relationship to the gunnels.

I am to the point of doing the decks on my RedBird Canoe. I am thinking of putting the decks on top of my gunwales instead of putting them inset.
