Thanks all for the compliments! My cedar is from all one log, used 3 adjacent wide boards on this canoe. (I have 30 nineteen foot strips left over. Maybe a RobRoy?) Strips color matched so close it's hard to see the shift from 1 1/4" to 7/8". Ornamental details un-needed with this wood! Ad...

Built the strongback and stations in Dec 2001 using Moore's article in Woodenboat 1996 publication Build a Boat . Decided to stretch 1” per station making a 16’ 3” canoe.
