fancy canoe stand
Hey folks! I'm getting married in 8 months, and we have decided to use my Redbird as the gift table/canoe. One thing...my current stands are some 2x4's and old carpet. I want to make some sharp looking (and functional) stands so that it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb.
Any ideas?

solo canoe for fishing, large paddler
Hey there, I am thinking about building a second canoe, I will using it for solo only, as I already have built a redbird. I am a large person, 6'1" and 270 lbs, so it needs to be fairly large. I also need it to be quite stable, as I want to use it for fishing primarily. Any suggestions?

stem wear
I recently finished my 2 1/2 year project, a 17'6" redbird. I have been fishing out of it, and taking short canoe trips all summer. I have extreme amounts of wear on the stem, its wearing through the fiberglass. How do I avoid this?
