The carving on the bow is supposed to represent Kanaloa, the Hawaiian god of the sea.

Thanks Kent, I have seen some less expensive Peel Ply for about $2 something/ yard. I think this was at Aircraft Spruce. If I can eliminate one whole coat of Epoxy, the labor and epoxy saved will offset the cost of the peel ply a bit. I am going to order a small sample to test it before I buy enough...

Does that mean that 4oz S is as strong as 6oz E? My research would say no. The System 3 epoxy manual, as well as the West epoxy manual indicate that the strength comes also from the epoxy iteslf, not just the glass.
