Hi all
Anyone know of any home remedies for tinting epoxy black, I'd like to try to lay up a glass coaming lip.

I have used East on three boats now and agree with Erich, wait time between coats for a good chemical bond is short, other than that so far so good.

Hi Ken I checked out your site,m you do very nice work, but then its not really work is it,I think you might be right about the offset mistake, we'll see how she paddles. Planning a Guillemot Night Heron for next winter and might try the coaming lip you used on your C17, looks like a good idea to me...

Paddles
Hi Doug,
The one on the left is wrc and ash, the one on the right is wrc and red spruce, its a great way to turn scraps and offcuts into something useful.

My paddles
Just a picture of a couple of paddles made to Chuck Holst's instructions, I can probably find the site again if anyone is interested. They were a fairly simple 8 hour project each

Thanks Glen, Initially I had a hard time going in a straight line but this was the first kayak I had ever sat in, I'm still quite inexperienced but learn a little every time out. The boat tracks straight as an arrow into the wind but can be challenging going the other way or at an angle. Having said...
