Want to varnish
Does temperature and humidity effect the application of spar varnish? I've got Epifanes high gloss. The daytime temps have been in the low 30's (high 80's for the 'f' scale) with about 3000% humidity. If it's unwise to varnish in these conditions, what about late in the evening? I've heard a few stories of guys buying rawhide lacing over the internet and getting lacing of ununiform width and/or thickness. Has anyone purchased rawhide lacing from Cariboucry, and what is their quality like?
