It looked sharp . But I could not get close enough to have a good look or talk to the builderMy question is W...

( to protect the glass and make those inevitable scrathes go away ) So I went with Behr Super Spar Clear Gloss from Home Hardware . It has a UV of 45...

Has anyone tried making a truck topper using the stripper method . It would have to be reinforced alright . But I was wondering how the glass would holdup to the constant sunlight .

First time boat builder
For those first time builders that are trying to decide on 3 coats or 4 coats of epoxy on the out side hull . I personaly wish I had done 4 coats just for that little extra depth .

Show us your paddles
I have just finished another set of paddles out of Hemlock Fir and Cherry . I prefer to pump a block plane in stead of weights . So what I am interested in is ideas for my next set . You know what they say " Plaguerism is the highest form of flattery " . Please include the woods used .I'll...

Redbird extra planks
There was a lot of talk earlier about adding an extra plank or two to increase the depth of a Redbird . I was wondering how it turned out . The nice thing about these is that you can adjust them to make them your own and also leave them out for the kids to go wild. In brackets are some alternative suggestions on ingredients . With a mixer bl...
