Re: Next Question on Plans for the "ranger 15"

Ah, just checked. Your reference is much better. They should put that information on the new website. Anyway, I see the sheerline measurement there. I also just assumed that the stem mold would be 3/4" lower than the peak of the station 6 mold but your ref also confirmed that. I also see there ...

Re: Next Question on Plans for the "ranger 15"

Thanks! I will check that out. I did some searching online and found what I think are the "updated" stem mold dimensions. Plotted them out and they made quite a bit more sense but I will definitely check these out. I had another question. On the stem molds, there is no "profile" ...

Re: First timer here with first question (of many I am sure)

Thanks for the replies. I was planning to start with a few millwork locations that are local and then work my way out from there. First step is to decide on a plan, but I am getting anxious to start in on this bad boy. Have the shop all prepped and plan to start building the strongback when we get b...

First timer here with first question (of many I am sure)

Great forum! In searching for a little more challenging woodworking project, I got "bit" by the canoe building bug. I have not finalized the choice of plan yet but I am not sure if that will have much bearing on my first question (which I did not find covered in the book). I am in Wisconsi...
