Cove side up ... or down?

Ok just about to start first build so forgive the nativity of the question. Is there a right or wrong way: Cove side up or should it be cove side down?
I am planning to build staple-less.
Please advise.
Thank you..

Length of Strongback?

Just about to dive head first in to my first ever canoe build – I have, after much deliberation, chosen the Cottage Cruiser.
Forgive the nativity of my question but, how long should the Strongback be for a 15’6” canoe.
Many thanks.

Re: Cottage Cruiser / Prospector Ranger / Heron Cruiser ?

Hello Brian. I’m in the U.K. and over here everything is much smaller so working space is roughly 9 x 22 feet - single vehicle garage. Going to be tight so planning on putting the strongback on wheels.
