Bending wood strips

Hi all. I am building the Prospector and I am stripping now. I am coming up to the top of the stem and am having difficulty bending the strips. Any suggestions. I am thinking of steaming the strips. Two questions- if I steam the strips will the be to wet to glue and does any one have any suggestions...

Yes I meant lofted. I used the most current book and did get the correction for the stem mold. I made some minor height adjustments to some of the stems to correct the wave. It through the water line off a little bit but I think I can live with it. I had another question. Is the stapler used for the...

Thanks guys. The wave is like this. If you sight down from stem to stem down the center line the wave is up and down from stem 2-1-0-1-2 if that makes sense. It’s about 1/8” deflection. Thanks guys. I have the eleventh printing. I think I said I was building a Prospector however I am building a Ranger. The file opened for me and the measurements work. In my book on page 51 the measurements don’t work. Thanks again.
