That was a real time improvment. It has taken me 5 hrs to do the lay out of the first 12 stations. So I still have to do 3 more staion molds the bow and stern a dncut and sand. I never thought lofting the plans and cutting the mold would take 15-20 hrs :shocked. Maybe I am just moving slowly if that...

ok now I'm confused
Is the base line on my mold plans the same as the strongback line? Also In lofting the stem molds I am not sure but they really didn't geve a sheer hieght for these, Am I missing something?

cutting molds and sheer line
When cutting the molds do you cut them at the sheer line or do you cut them a little past the sheer and mark that location for the installation of the first strip?

That is something I decided on myself. I did plot each station full, but do to the close proximtiy of the line and sharing of some points of the stern and bow halves I think I have decided to draw the lines for the bow on one side of the center line and the stern on the other.
