Canoeing Missouri Breaks
Has any one on here canoed the Missouri Breaks monument west of Great Falls Montana? I'm planning a trip there this summer. Of course scratching my cedar strip to much will ruin all the fun. I think this river is mostly slow moving with a muddy bottom. If anyone can give me tips on this trip it woul...

Bowron
Thanks for the tips guys. The more I use my boat the more I'm getting over dammaging my canoe. Last week my son and I did 4 days on Maligne Lk and the shore was full of sharp rocks and added to the sratches. We are committed to the Bowron next year and by then it will be 4 years old and probably tim...

Bowron Lakes
Has any one here taken their cedar strip on the Bowron circuit? I'm planning this trip for next year but I certainly don't want to sctatch the crap out of my boat on the rivers.

Bobs Special
Hi Adam,
I finished my Bobs Special last year. It is a great boat and gets lots of looks while driving down the highway. I stretched mine to 16ft and used it on a 4 day canoe trip in northern alberta. It was a real pleasure.
Enjoy your boat - Martin (calgary)

Thanks for the tips guys. I also have to walk away from it for a while. My wife is becoming a canoe widow and is starting to complain I'm always in the garage. I had better do what she wants for a couple of days. I picked up a new scraper and today I will get a ROS. The instructions with the epoxy w...

Epoxy
Hi Gerry, I know exactly what you are going through. I have just finished my third coat on the weekend. This was my first attempt at working with fibreglass and epoxy. Before I started I had a fantastic looking sanded boat. Now it looks like crap with an uneven look and loads of drips. I followed th...
