Hi all Quick question on rounding the edge of my scuppers. I have both out and in whales mounted glued and screwed in place, I scuppered the in whales prior to fitting but did not round over the edges. I will leave the brass & I have interlux schooner varnish so will just slosh it on and not bother with the tongue oil.

Yes that is what I have done and it apears to be working OK, this was a messy job and boy I thought I was going to have to start over with new seat frames.

Never the less alls well that ends well and I now have my seats.

seat material problem

I bought my seat material from Rockler with 1/4" read beading.
I routed a groove 1/4" by 1/4" deep and the bead doe's not want to grip when pushed into the groove.
What am I doing wrong?

After sanding with the 80 grit and wetting out, is it better to sand the 120 grit stage by hand or with the ROS?
