I have to work out of my garage and have been using a Shopsmith for many years. I've build both a Bob's Special and a Rice Lake. It worked great for that! Dan...any chance you can sharpen that bit by spinning it against a mill file in a drill press or hand drill?. or maybe just working it by hand on a stone? I have the Veritas tapered cutters that work good.... but sometimes a little sharpening on a less expensive bit will do the trick...Juneaudave......

Glen....Ya know...we got to razz Dean from Eureka to finish his Redbird...that is such a nice build and he has it sitting on a rack awaiting completion.
