I've done the Bowron circuit, but not in a stripper. Still, I can't imagine that you'd do any damage. I wouldn't hesitate to bring a stripper in there. We went in early June, about a decade ago. I understand it can get quite crowded in July and August, with the camping restricted to designated sites...

I paddle an Endeavour without stem bands, and have not had any damage to the stems in 5 seasons of paddling. I do have 3 layers of 6 oz fg over the stems but there's barely a scratch on them. I generally carry the kayak into the water, and enter/exit in a few inches of water, so the boat is floating...

To ensure that you don't lose the cover should it blow off, it's a good idea to pass the front loop under your deck bungees and pull the cover back through the loop Been there ... done that ... these days my cover is secured even for short local trips. Lisa, my Endeavour cockpit is not the standard...
