Jeff,

Let me clarify, you used 2 I beams, screwed together side by side, giving you doublt with of the top of the I for your mounting surface?

so I take it the silent flooring comes in a U formation and you just need to cover the top opening?

well have the strong back almost complete. Just a little bit more touch up work to do on the forms. Took Monday off so I'll be able to really get moving by the end of this week. (days off are tuesday and wed). Gonna try taking the stem forms down a bit to account for the stems themselves. I'll let y...

Ya that first boat was a bummer. Well more of a shocker :shock:

I already picked up the 1/2" mdf. I was thinking MDF was particle board, just a different grade?

Also got a bunch of copies of the plans. Hopefully I'll be cutting them out tonight...I can smell the cedar already 8)
