Hi, Erik,
Check out this site http://www.gorillaglue.com/gluefinder.htm# . Looks like they sell it as Gorilla Glue in the UK.

I, too have some spots that look like that, and as I said in a previous post, they are due to incomplete saturation of the glass that occurred when I was wetting out with a roller that had been used for almost the whole hull, and mixing batches that started to set up before I completely saturated th...

If you use epoxy, mix it in the same ratio as for glassing, add enough dust to make it a glue-ike consistency.

Hi, guys, I used MAS epoxy with slow hardener, and didn't wait at all before squeegying...what's the 20 minute wait for? Seems to me that as the 'poxy starts to set before fully saturating the glass is when it doesn't wet out the glass fully and leaves the little white lines of the weave visible. Wh...

Ed's right, get your epoxy for glassing the hull, mix small batches and thicken with wood dust from sanding (not sawdust) to the desired consistency and color and glue with that. No need to buy more epoxy, you should have plenty. The color is often darker than you want and can be lightened farther w...

If you use the ROS, I'd be really careful with 80 grit, especially on the inside. I found that if I scraped the drips and high spots, 120 grit was plenty aggressive to smooth the hull without much effort.
Good luck, you're finished the hardest part.

I guess you're talking about the hook & loop pads that stick on the ROS between the machine and the paper...they have hook on one side and loop on the other. There was a discussion about these soft pads recently either here or on the kayak forum. Some folks swear by them, others not so sold. I f...

Thanks again, Bud & Glen, We finally heard from my sister in law, and they're OK, so all family is at least safe. It'll be a long time before things get anywhere close to normal down there. I'll probably be going down there in a couple of weeks to take generator, cleaning supplies, sat phone, an...

Thanks, Bud. It is surely a disaster of epic proportions. Will take the city and surroundings years to recover. Although I'm In NC/HI now, I grew up in New Orleans and all my immediate family is still there. Almost everybody got out before the storm hit, so no loss of life, but looks like homes and ...
