Dewalt...

My ROS is a Dewalt and it has just been great. I use it all the time and have never had a problem with it over the last 7 years. Can't beat that recommendation... I have the 5" 8 hole hook and loop and you can get discs anywhere...

No story...

NO STORY... I just know about "fisheyes" and finishes. I used to sell large air compressors and the oil that with them. I sold a unit to Steelcase Executive Wood Desk Div. and before they would use "my" oil, it had to be tested for any silicione content PERIOD... No questions ask...

Bad Silicone...

GOLDEN RULE If "IT" has silicone in it, don't use it on a boat... Don't even put the stuff in the same building with a boat... :crying :crying :crying

Little boats for little people...

I even top your height and weight so I went with one that will hold me up without the bow being vertical... The Nomad 17' was my choice and when paddling solo, it is more important to have some fore and aft balance. Much easier with a bigger canoe... Just my thoughts...
