adding non-skid to Spar Varnish?!?!?!?

Is it possible to add this material to Spar Varnish as the last coat inside the canoe bottom (I'm thinking if an area is masked off and then the non-skid applied so as to give a nice uniform area finish...........)

Thanks for the tips thus far.......I am concerned about the whole idea of applying a sealer coat of West epoxy before actually installing the glass and three coats of West on the outside...........is it a good idea? Problems with some strip joints

:crying we have spent many hours sanding and filling joints in seams and are basically ready to glass the outside of the hull.........very concerned about the seam joints that are still not tight and solid..........is it safe and wise to go ahead and glass the outside of the hull anyways?!?!?!?
