With using shrink wrap as your interior, next to mold, layer.
Is there a home made way to vaccum bag the exterior layer?
This would seem to be the goal, ....a smooth interior and exterior layer.


Are the epoxies the same as you use for fiberglas?

I believe it to be a carbon boat as well.
The book "Building Your Kevlar Canoe" by James Moran, is a good starting point for its building principals.

I have always enjoyed showing of my rope work, now I have another one, to show off.

Question, the rope on the outside edge of the kayak picture, is that for rescue purpose?I have seen similar line on other kayaks.
