Just wondering if anyone has sucsessfuly bent 3/4 x7/8 one piece stems rather than glued laminations ? Haven't seen any thing mentioned about trying this .

Rick , sorry I neglected to mention I'm building a 16 ft prospector and was kind of thinking the line would hold the planks in well at the cheeked area . Glen thanks for the photo , just curious as to your reason for stripping bead up , do you use this fishing line method ? Roger :smile

I see while brousing the forum the fishing line method of planking mentioned but not really saying what it is . Thanks for your response and advice. contacted the supplier, explained the problem,they said ship it back and they will repace it,great service. I'll drive it down there just to be sure

fiberglass cloth problem ?

HI all Just recieved my fiberglass cloth by puralator from one of the better known suppliers . It came rolled on a cardboard tube and in a heavy duty shipping tube,all looked good . Upon opening the tube I found a indentation in the cloth running around the roll similiar to the way a stripe runs aro...
