Hi all,
Last weekend I test paddled my new Woodstrip Osprey Solo canoe which is finally finished after more than a year of building. I'll try to post some pictures soon.
I installed a slider seat supported on top of a wooden slider bar and with 4 small stainless steel brackets to ensure seat is properly "guided" and doesn't fall down easily. So far I didn't think of a locking system.
During paddling I noticed my own weight+ friction wasn't enoug to keep the seat on its place... it slides easily backward when paddling. I need some kind of locking system to secure the seats in a fixed position.
Does anyone has used a "locking system" succesfully and how does it looks? Any ideas / pictures?

Hi Michel, I remember seeing a few years ago, a knotched seat system, you could move / slide the seat in one inch increments.
