Stems are done

Post by wb9tpg »

I'm ready to put on the strips :applause :praying

I used 1/8" ash/walnut strips for the outer stem.

Second stem is still on the jig

Beautiful stems! It is a little hard to tell from the photo, and I may be missing something, but your last station mold looks too low. The top of the mold should be level to the top of the stem. It will be difficult to strip if it isn't.

It is a separate jig the same shape as the stem forms. The stem forms are on the strong back.
