Router bits.

Post by Danny Turner »

Hi folks,
Right, I want to bead and cove my strips myself. I obviously need the proper router bits. I live in N.Ireland and my local store in Coleraine can`t help me. Is there anyone there from Britain who might be able to point me in the right direction as to where I might find a supplier of the router bits required to bead and cove?
All answers really appreciated folks.
Danny
Ireland is a land of calm lakes and slow rivers but with no strip canoes upon them.I intend to change this and make it my resolution to do so.

Danny, a quick search found these two suppliers.
Axminster
Rutlands

I would imagine you could mail order from most of the North American suppliers too.

Order on line from MLCS. They will process orders for international customers. I bought a MLCS "stacked" 1/4" shaft bead and cove bit for $27.95. I have milled about 1600 linear feet of bead/cove with this router bit and it is still good to go. I think it was a good buy.
