gluing pegs into stems

Post by backpaddler »

can I use water resistant glue such as titebond3 to glue the plugs into the stems where the screws were removed, or should they be glued in with epoxy. I figured the end of the stem will get coated in epoxy anyway.
Any thoughts?

Usually just cut the plugs level, sand, and epoxy after. The epoxy will lock it in place.

I appreciate the help, thanks.
I have a small problem with impatience, so I just glued them in with titebond3 gave them an hour or so and I was on to shaping them.

Thanks again
