Too hot

Post by wb9tpg »

It's 100 degrees outside and I'm not done with my varnishing. It's expected to continue for another week.

Do you think it'd be OK if I got up early when the temp is in the lower 70s and varnished it them before the hot part of the day? The Epifanes instruction was to do it below 85F.

I'm wondering if I can get away with it and if I should put a little extra thinner in the varnish?

What do you think guys?

Best advice I can give you is to try it on some scrap first.
