stapleing to the stems

stapleing to the stems

I just started my first planking adventure . I was wonder if is ok to staple the planks to the stems rather than use clamps . woulos this cause a problem .

I did staple to my stems and it did not cause issues for me. I will let you know that I got to a point where the staple did not have enough force to hold and I had to make a halo.

If your inner stems are a soft wood it will work without problems. f they are a hard wood, it may be difficult.

its hardwood, so clamping will be the way to go.

maybe mix up some 5 minute epoxy and clamp.
