hello folks
I will be glassing my canoe when the weather warms in late spring. Was wondering if anyone in the Hamilton or Niagara area is needing help to glass their own boat in exchange for the same help in return. If a few builders can get together and help each other with this time sensitive job it would be great.

I wish you luck. If I was closer, I'd offer my help. I've found that one extra set of hands is about right. Too many, especially holding beer cans creates trouble. On my last boat, I mixed and applied most of the epoxy myself and even though there were a few stressful moments, for the most part it went well and the epoxy is flawless. Remember that prep is most of the work, don't rush and clean up drips and runs with a cabinet scraper while the epoxy is still green.
