I gave up on my canoe a couple of years ago and got rid of it and the forms, but I still have enough strips to build 1-2 canoes. They are all 16 to 17 feet long, as I had planned on building the freedom 17. The wood is Western Red Cedar, select and better or CLEAR, some strips have minimal knots ie. 1/8" but mostly all clear. If anyone out there wants to check them out give me a ring at (NINE O FIVE-391-1305 . If they are worth anything make me an offer. I don't expect much like $100 or so.
The strips are all .75" x .235-.250" which I believe is within tolerance. They were milled using the Lee Valley canoe bits. I'd like them gone ASAP so I can set up a work bench.
Anyone in Durham/Toronto/Peterborough need cedar strips?
