Many thanks to all who helped me out with the build. Special thanks to Jim Dodd and Patricks Dad for the many suggestions.

Completed the Rob Roy two weeks back and she has been to the lake a few times. Second one to be build in the fall (for the wife) - and yes I'll use horizontal grain boards this time.

A great friend, and his wife, (a graphics artist) here in town, built two solo canoes in one Summer, and did a super job. I was there assisting a lot, but any first timer that builds two boats in a Summer, gets a thumbs up from me ! :tu

One thing about it everything should be fresh in your memory !
