I need help!

I purchased an 8 1/2' truck camper this fall and am looking for a method to load/unload it to the roof of the camper. It's a hard side and is about 9' from the ground to the roof line. I have a ladder on the rear of the camper, but the manufacturer does NOT recommend walking on the roof, something about cracks, holes, leaks, etc.

:thinking

I can handle the canoe supports for the canoe once it's up there and tying it down. It's a 16' Peterborough weighing 70 lbs.

ANY IDEAS?

This is probably pricey but the Thule "Hullavator" sounds like the ideal solution: http://www.thuleracks.com/thulecan/carrier_water1.asp

I personally use the Thule Rollercoaster for my 18' kayak or canoe. It works very well on top of the topper on my truck. I watched Ebay pretty close and got a pretty good deal for the whole rack, the rollercoaster is just the rear guides.
