Bosco, What's the latest on your build? Done yet? How does she paddle?

Oh, it's slow process. I have everything set up, my strips are finally cut and all I need to do is start planking.

:wink Bosco, don't let Patrick's Dad bug you, he's just offering some good-natured ribbing. "Normal people" can take years to build a canoe or, in my case, a kayak.
I've spent more than the last two weeks just repairing my hatch latches on the kayak!
Cheers,
Bryan

I have almost finished the planking, well half way through anyway. I'll try to add some photos.

oh, that's exciting. You're making great progress! I'd love to see some pictures and hear how stripping around the chine went for you. I've still got this design on the list for next boat but not sure when I'll be able to start...

This is a canoe that really holds my interest. It really looks good on paper. Bosco, what length did you go with?

Unfortunately I can't see the photos you put up on facebook. Do you have them hosted anywhere else?

I'm interested in this canoe also. Can you embed some photos here or host them on a public site?

I finished my Freedom Solo (15' 3") this weekend. Lake is still frozen so no paddling yet. All of my pics from the build can be seen at this facebook link (no need to be a facebook member or friend to see):

Here are a couple photos of the first portage...

I'll post some more once it gets wet.

It looks great, Randy. Looking forward to seeing more finished shots, especially the ones on the water.

Makes a very styling hat. :wink
