Cedar.canvas?

Post by DSJ »

I'm thinking about buillding another canoe this winter and i am kicking around the idea of making a cedar/canvas craft.

Has anyone here ever built one and can you recommend a book or other resource on this topic?

I haven't built one, but I own all the books on the subject that I could find. I like Building the Maine Guide Canoe the best. Here's the link to the book at Amazon: http://amzn.to/oRZId7

I also own The Wood and Canvas Canoe by the same author. If you can find it cheap enough, you should buy that, too. There's overlap between the two books, but both are good. Here's the book on Amazon: http://amzn.to/n1jmes
