Storage (for canoes & kayaks)

At present I have a canoe and a kayak, with plans of making a 2nd canoe.
Over the winter I hang them from the ceiling of my garage, this is cool.
However; when the water is some what less solid I want to store them in the garage as well, but in a space saving and an action ready way.
Any thoughts?
