Who wants to cane my seat for me?

Post by patrick »

Ok. Caning seats has to be the most boring and tedious job ever. I spent all day in the sun am about 3/4ths of the way done with one, and sunburnt. If you spend too much time caning, eventually, your eyes get to the point where they feel like they are going to pop out of your head. :shocked

does anyone want to do the other?

we had a deal! Keep at it! You'll do a fine job. You might consider going indoors or getting up really early (before the sun is out) to do the other seat.

Patricks Dad,
I'm wondering what your half of the deal was. :thinking

As Patricks new agent, I think we would like to renegotiate. :twisted evil

Here's the deal: Patrick gets a tan and canes one seat, his seat. :cool

Come on dad, it's summer break from school and he needs a tan so he can look good for the girls. :laughing

I think my part of the deal must be to stay at home and go to my day job every morning. I'll take the caning job if Patrick will cover my day job (and not get me fired!). But I think Patrick started with my seat, so he really only has about 1 seat (his) to go!

Funny I enjoyed canning the seats. It was easier than I expected and I could talk to other people or watch TV as I did it. Of course it helped that I sat in an air conditioned room.

As I spent all day last Sunday sanding (half) the outside of our hull, I was thinking about trading with Patrick.... I think I'll wait til he's done with the 2nd seat before suggesting a trade (as long as his agent, MTPocket doesn't catch wind of this deal).
