The fenders look fabulous! I know some people who are going to be envious. :shocked

Glen and I will be there this year and camping together. Keep us in mind next year and we can all camp together. You and I can go paddling together while Glen cooks and cleans for us.

No way! I'll paddle circles around the two of you then head back to camp and cook up a storm before you know it. Mike can do the cleaning while Dave does the dishes. :laughing

Juneaudave, if you organize a Builders' Rendezvous for 2008, I could start hitch-hiking this year and I might make it in time.

Something is strange. There is a limit to the size of photos we can post yet Juneaudave's 2 pics are larger than allowed. I wonder how that happened. :rolling eyes

Don't worry about the size of the photo. Just stay in the kitchen and whip up something good. :laughing

Maybe I'll cook...I'm starting to get real interested in this dutch oven thing...those cast iron pots don't fit real well in a canoe, but you can squirrel one or two away in a camper...You guys have fun in August!!!...Juneaudave

Dean seems to be getting to be a real pro with his dutch oven cooking.

We would surely have more fun if you were there with us.

I found why the pics were larger than permitted and I corrected them.

We could have the Rendezvous closer, closer to Baie-St-Paul. :big grin

Hey Chief,
How's this sound?...
Get Ted and Joan to do a Rendevous on the West Coast of Canada in 2008.
Try and get them to set a date for that early in '07.
I know I'm the slowest builder around, but it's only 'cause of my work schedule...
I have commited myself to debut my teardrop in May of '07.
I want to take my kids on an Alaskan trip with it in '08.
I for damned sure will have the Redbird finished by then.
If Ted and Joan will set a date early enough in '07, I'll be able to make the arrangements for the trip to Alaska to coincide with the Rendevous and I'll have the kids, teardrop, canoe and plenty of dutch ovens to do the cooking for you guys. :eyebrows

Hey buddy, where ya' been?

West Coast? I could pass on the suggestion but don't get your hopes up too high. It is much more convenient for them to have a Rendezvous near home where they have the facilities and the manpower to assist but it won't hurt to ask.

Guess I'll just have to climb on a plane and head Noth East...
but, I'm definately gonna take my kids and take in Alaska!
I've been busy... Too damned busy, Just ask Joanie. :laughing

These next couple of weeks are gonna be a doozie...
Four commercial jobs to bid and get about a million and one things squared away for the IRG.

It sure would be nice to see you at one of the Rendezvous. Alaska, eh? Lucky dog!
I guess the IRG gathering is approaching so you must be running around like a chicken with its head cut off. :frightened
