Painting

Post by Glen Smith » Sat Jan 03, 2009 5:44 pm

My daughter Julie started taking painting lessons in September and she made this one especially for me, It is hanging on the wall just above my computer so I can easily marvel at her talent and dream of warmer weather.

Glen,

Nice art work. I am sure that I know who is in the painting.

One of my daughters also does artwork...

Best regards,

Glen,

As I mentioned in one of our Private Message Marathons, it must be nice to have a daughter recognize and represent your passion while she pursues hers. After seeing this painting again I think back to the time you and I paddled together. The painting looks like my memories. The only difference, the man in the painting is better looking.

Thanks Snowy & Mike. Yes, it warms the heart to receive a hand-crafted gift from your own child. Actually, both of my daughters are talented at painting and other handicrafts.
