Freedom 17 Trip Report

Post by Bryan Hansel » Tue Sep 28, 2010 6:09 pm

Just dropping by to say, "Hey." And post a link to a trip report for a trip we just took. I used my Freedom 17, which proved itself as the perfect canoe for tripping in the BWCA--canoe country. For new builder's looking for a canoe country tripping canoe that can handle rivers, the Freedom is it. I've been paddling this one since 2001 and despite trying lots of kevlar canoes (by Bell, Wenonah, Langford, Souris River, Old Town, Mad River) I still haven't found anything that I like better.

Thanks, Bear Mountain for making the plans available!
