sad news about a long time canoe builder

I have recently been blessed with the friendship of a wonderful guy named Bob Quist.
Bob has helped many people build canoes over the years both here in Ontario and also in Holland where he was born.
We began to build the first of three canoes with Bob's expert leadership and help, but suddenly, Bob became very ill and as a result has had to stay home.
Bob found out that he has terminal cancer and is not expected to live too much longer.
We were all so shocked to learn about this especially for someone like Bob who has always been such a giving person and loved life and the great outdoors so much.
I don't know if anybody else has had the pleasure of knowing this fine person, but, he has really impacted my life.

I don't know Bob Quist but I can feel your pain. I lost one of my sisters to cancer on February 17th.
