extending the inner stem?

Post by brooks »

Has anyone thought about extending the inner stem to the next station inboard. Im building the Ranger and im getting ready to bend the stems. I guess Im more keelminded than not and this would strengthen the strip ends until the football. Would I be over building or over thinking this. Is the fg cloth that strong to hold the center joint from buckling. I would appreciate some feedback.
