Setting up forms

Post by Jim Dodd »

I've been watching some of Ted and Joan's excellent videos, and noticed two small things I do different.
Aligning my stem forms, and clamping the stations to the cleats.
Stem form alignment, these pics should tell more than my words.

Clamping stations to the strongback cleats. Instead of using screws, I prefer to just use C-clamps. It saves a lot of time, both setting up, and removing the stations. I don't need the C-clamps until I'm working the gunnels, so using them to hold the stations in place is a no brainer to me.
Another pic.
