Ready to float!!!!!!

Post by Libelle »

Just finished my Traveler canoe this weekends; and will probably do the initial latch shortly, but only after the varnish dry a little more. I would like to thank all contributors to this great Forum; I was able to get all information’s that I needed through this Forum and bringing easily this project to end.
So again, thank-you all !!!!!

Gaetan

Gaetan,
a beautiful canoe, bet you can't wait to get her wet. Very nice lines and accents. Please post some more pictures of her in the water. Enjoy her for many years to come!

Gaetan, very nice work indeed.
It appears that there is an accent strip near the water line. I'd be curious to see some pictures of the bottom near the water line.

Thanks to everyone for your great comments.
In reply at Ealger, the accent strip is not at the water line, but only there for visual effect on the hull.

Thanks again!

Gaétan

Thanks Gaétan for the picture. I like the bottom contrast.
The Cedar I have for my current project is very light and I've
been looking for ideas on adding contrast strips.
