Well i went for the first paddle last Sunday with my wife and son. I like the way the Freedom paddles. I was told this was a fast design and it is , a lot faster than my Rangers. It has a much slower response than my Rangers and feels less stable. My wife described the stability as felling more like a canoe . Considering we have been paddling the Ranger for the past few summers I can see her point. So if I was going on a trip I will take the Freedom ,going fishing or foolling around in big waves , the Ranger. Solo paddling was nice also , the boat tracks very well . We paddled in a strong head wind coming back. and my 8 yr. old was paddling in the bow and my wife was sitting on the floor , I liked how easy it was for me to paddle and keep a straight line in the wind. I hope I have this picture posting figure d

Man that's a great job. And believe it or not that accent pattern is almost what we did on Chris' solo.
I've heard by other Freedom builders who use it for tripping (queue Bryan) that it's a great tripper. How do you think it would feel fully loaded for camping?
