We're going out today for our second trip with my Freedom 17 :D . We launched it last week-end and I was amazed how stable it is. Even with 500 pounds on board (3 adults and my 11months old boy), there was still a lot freeboard. There was a good wind but we never felt it was affecting security, control or speed. My seats are not caned yet (I taped thin plywood pieces on the seats frames :oops:

I would like to thank everyone who helped or inspired my thru this project, directly or not. A list of those would be to long for this forum, boring and I'm sure I will forget some names. It's better to go paddle everyone :
