I kept forgetting my camera

to date we have the inwales done and installed, decks made and installed and outwales installed.

Hopefully we will get the seats installed tomorrow along with the thwart and then get it ready to sand and varnish

Ticket? Heck no. I was counting on Obama to buy it for me. He's spending money like he has it and I figured it was the least he could do.

We got the seats hung today and the thwart installed. Now we get to take it apart and get ready to varnish Seats were hand caned by one of our volunteers at the Canadian Canoe Museum

How do you keep your work space so much cleaner than mine? By the end of a boat project my garage looks like a tornado hit it.

Hmmmm

Perhaps I should post a pic of my basement workshop lol

We don't get tornadoes often but something has hit mine lol.

It is actually neater when I'm building a boat because i don't have much room and have to have things tidied up so I have a safe place to work, Right now I have 10 kitchen cabinet doors all over the place for paint.

We have been building the canoe at the Peterborough Rona store and the mess we have is behind the canoe lol

There are still draw tickets available Folks. Glen didn't buy them all.

Ranger was sanded yesterday and moved today to the Canadian Canoe Museum pending varnishing shortly

Boat was varnished at Bear Mountain Boats last week and picked up today and finished off at CCM. Now on display at Rona in Peterborough and the Draw is this coming Saturday at 12 Noon.

Still tickets left for you last minute people
