Hi all
A big hello from the uk, my husband & son have just completed a two year build of a freedom 15 (stretched to 16) it has taken many hours of hard work but it was worth it.
I will try to post some build & 1st voyage photos as i can figure out how to do it, i am sure we will have many questions on paddling techniques to follow as we are complete novices
Liz
Hello from the UK
Hello & welcome Liz!
We look forward to seeing those pictures. Any details you can add about the build are always appreciated.
Regarding paddling technique, my favourite resource is the collection of books & videos produced by Bill Mason, and the Mason family in general. http://www.redcanoes.ca/ Yeah, Bill's books and videos are a few years old now, but the content is informative, inspiring, creative, beautiful and educational. Go to http://www.nfb.ca and search Bill Mason. It will pull up a bunch of his films that you can watch online.

Bryan
