You got the life Denis. What days are you building? How is it coming along?

Hi Mike

We don't have a set schedule but will be there most Tuesdays in the morning and part way through afternoon. We will also be there likely one other day sometime through the week and on the odd weekend

We have the strongback made and just got the forms cut out on Tuesday.

I am in Peterborough this weekend , stopped in today at Rona to look at the canoe. It looks great, Denis and his crew are doing a great job, it will be a great prize for the winner. It was nice to see Denis again, he was there working on it . He is still wondering how you knew about his birthday Glen.

Hull planked, sheer cut and outer stems attached.

I used a utility knife to cut the first three feet of the sheer at the bow and stern as it was too curved for chisel. Worked really well, Dark cedar is tough to cut lol
