Hello from middle Georgia (USA)

Post by Sherm »

Just joined, been "lurking" off and on for a few weeks.
Completed my first Strip Canoe this past summer, can't wait to start another.
I've built several stitch and glue plywood canoes, this helped "hone" my skills and
was good learning for building Strip Canoes.

Hiawatha 47 lbs. (setup for solo canoe)

Hi,
Great looking boat.Just finished my Hiawatha, but I couldn't match your 47lbs, mine came in at 49lbs. Photo on project directories under Hiawatha.

Regards,

Richard

Thanks, ya I saw your picture on the other post, Nice-Job.

I only have one seat so that saves me some weight. I think staying at 50 lbs or
less is a great accomplishment.
