18th century birchbark canoe

Post by Richard »

Has the news reached Canada about the 18th century birchbark canoe which has been found on a country estate in Cornwall in England. It was brought back by a military man about 250 years ago, and lay undiscovered until recently. It will be put on display in the British Museum in London and then returned to Peterborough, to the Canoe Museum.
